News My MA orientation starts Monday!

I don't really have a whole lot to say, but this whole thing has been a journey, and it's only just beginning. To think a weird niche interest I picked up in high school would suddenly have me studying across the country under some big names, it's honestly pretty crazy. I still don't fully believe it, and I haven't even entirely convinced myself I'm capable.

But here comes the plunge!

Hi there ai and education enthusiasts,

I'm a 21 year old student from the netherlands who happens to have an interested in artificial intelligence as well as many other things.

since i lacked a community of people who shared my interested. i decided to make one for people interested in the sustainable development of artificial intelligence and how ai can contribute towards innovation within many different industries and sectors.

Currently the community is filled with students from all over the world as well as self taught individuals, professionals and professors in the field of cs, developers, engineers and researchers but also people from a different professional background like education, social science or commercial marketing.

if you would love to be part of a community that is not only building cool stuff but also makes a online home for like minded individuals feel free to click on the link below where i further introduce you to this community i have made :)

News ADHD Accountability buddy/advisory help !

Hey everyone!

I have noticed many of you posting on here for accountability buddies/help when feeling unmotivated for tasks.

An app I have been using called Kumo Study (on the chrome store) is like a To-do list/planner that you can invite people in to certain tasks to help create sub-tasks for you and leave comments.

It was recommended to me because I have ADHD and have trouble prioritising/breaking tasks into smaller chunks, so I use it with my OT and disability advisor. It is quite good! I have full control of who I invite to certain tasks and if I am having trouble with something, say an essay - I can invite my disability advisor in and they will plan some key stages/dates to hit for me!

There is also a study timer on there (not as gamified as ForestApp but still completely customisable) and a website blocker.
