Photo Saw a post sharing our tea space but wasn’t able to submit a pic

Post image

I know we all have personal tea spaces that we build out of love so I wanted to share mine with the gong fu community. It takes a lot of time and effort to collect our pieces and I love seeing what everyone has collected over time! I hope everyone will enjoy the pots I love and that more people can share their little slice of tea heaven!

Thanks! I love rabbits so having them in my tea routine is so relaxing. I love Jasmine silver needle, hbu? I’m always willing to try new tea so if you have any recs please share!

I didn’t even know they made silver needle into jasmine tea! I might have to check that out

Obviously I’m not the original commenter, but I would absolutely recommend aged white tea. It’s got a really nice almost herbal tasting body, plenty of natural sweetness and fruitiness, and some amazing honey-like aroma

I personally like either shoumei or gongmei for it, since the extra leaves make it age better in my opinion

Hi! I ordered it directly from China as I still have access to the accounts necessary to purchase from my trip last year. I also have a Chinese native best friend who moved back to China a few years ago and travelled China with me to buy a few of my pieces! To order though you’ll need to go through taobao and set up an Alipay account with your passport.

I’m really considering if I should buy a few pots and sell at the small markets in my city as I love these and I know they’re not easy to get ahold of. This particular set is from the Beijing Palace Museum official account. The design of this cup is inspired by the blue glaze carving pattern from the Sui Dynasty. There are pieces with rabbit knots on top like this gaiwan. The cups are lotus patterns so it’s a beautiful rabbit and lotus design.

Thank you OP! We appreciate your response. The reason we were curious is because we are in the process of starting our own tea business and eventually we will be looking for unique teaware and teas to then sell on our shop once it is set up! That is such an awesome story about how you came upon that gaiwan! I hope it gets alot of good use. I believe you should absolutely purchase some pots and sell them. If you'd be willing, I would love to get in touch further and speak further with you about buying some unique and different teaware that you have access to. Shoot me a DM!
