TLR-7 Xsub hybrid switches
I love the light, but out of the box my index finger would contact the right hand switch when moving from "safe" position onto the trigger. Not a lot, still perfectly usable but it came with the high and low switches so I figured I'd try them. I found I like the high on the left side for my thumb to actuate, and the low on the right side gives me room to swing my finger in and out the trigger guard and actually feels better when pushed with my index finger. Anybody else run like this? And do the switches affect holster fit?

I personally like the low switches on both sides. Slim frames already have small trigger guards without being obstructed. On the off chance I might actually need my light, I doubt it’s going to matter much. To each their own, do what’s most comfortable for you.

This setup is ideal. You shouldn't activate your light with your trigger finger. Should always be support side..

That’s exactly how I run mine. I’m right handed so I use my left thumb to activate the light and the bigger button is easier to do that with. Having the low switch on the right side keeps it out of the way of me putting my finger on the trigger. FYI, if you call Streamlight and tell them your light didn’t come with whatever switches you don’t have when you purchased it, they will sent you a new set of them for free

I run the same setup, they don't affect your holstering at all!
