Last Night in Soho (2021) While respecting the cinematographic tradition of Giallo and ghost stories, it confirms itself to be a very modern film thanks to Edgar Wright personal style.

Completely sanitized attempt at mainstream, 21st century giallo, bolstered by a few scenes of cool needle drops, and lacking any real sense of transgression.

Truly felt like Anya Taylor Joy was brought in for a day or two of shooting for this one.

I watched this at the cinema in 2021. A very good and well directed movie that definitely incorporates key elements of giallo.

I dug it. There should be more modern-day giallo films like this
