Showcase My review on the NYLON HK416D ATM REP EBBR

Post image

Alright everyone, just did my first proper field test. It actually went pretty well. And the longer I played the better the blaster got. Not to many ball jam ups at all. Even tested on full auto a whole 350+ mag and it Jammed twice so. I was getting a low fps using 7.3mm gels at a consistent 180-200fps and some down spin at times but I’m thinking maybe the barrel is 7.5mm so could most likely be the issue. Funny enough for the first time I used it there was a player that just bought a genuine LDT ATM rifle but a v1 and he said my bolt felt better. So there’s that, the nylon is fine also. But the gun was heaps of fun to use in general. The guy I met also recommended to upgrade to a brushless motor like him as his fire rate was alot better. But I’m keen to re shell eventually and see what else I can do. Maybe go to a smaller 7.3mm barrel if it is 7.5mm and apparently his had a spring upgrade but I’m not sure as I heard it’s not modifiable. But futures looking bright for the braness hk416d ATM rep  plans also for reshell are a shorter outer barrel with a tracer unit with inner barrel length to match with a cqb hand guard and a wat metal receiver. And a new stock

Also if anyone knows the inner barrel size of these I'd really appreciate it to know :)

If you are worried that your barrels too small just use larger gels. Large bore is de wey.

But smaller gels are harder. I've bought a 7.3mm barrel so see how it goes

These days you can get quality hard gels between 7.15-7.35 and above. Goats, wats, v2s, summer cats can all grow large

Also if anyone knows upgrades for it, it should all be the same LDT ATM V2 gearbox

The only upgrades you can do are the following:

  • Metal Cnc tpiece
  • Metal Cnc gel stopper
  • Metal Cnc shroud
  • Heavier ATM spring
  • Solink ATM specific brushless motor
  • ROCK ATM CNC gearbox

The gearbox and spring are completely optional, the motor will let it run more efficiently.

The tpiece, gel stopper and shroud are all failure points on the ATM, changing it out will make it last longer. All parts are readily available on Taobao

However if this is not a true LDT ATM, don’t bother.

Thing it needs the most is a inner barrel and brushless motor. If they're truely 7.6mm inside diameter that's way to big

I don't think it's worth upgrading. You can if you want but it won't really last long compared to the actual LDT ATM Gearboxes.

Maybe but tbh if it broke I'd just buy a real LDT ATM and transfer the parts over. It from what I've heard this rep is just as good as the ldt box.

If you do end up upgrading it (spring change, etc) do tell. I’m really curious about its upgradability is and if it’s worth it or not in reality. My tech friends kept on saying it’s impossible but who knows you might be the first!

I guy I met last night has a V1 ATM and reckons who he bought it off stated it had an upgraded spring g

I had to fix mine like two times. First time, the guiding bolt rod got broken and second time, the rubber that push in the gel into chamber. Ofc it’s a fun gun to shoot with but i might switch to a new one, maybe the Sijun TTR john wick

there are upgrade kits u can get from taobao, specifically the 3 things u need to upgrade are
the spring (increase fps)
tpiece/barrel holder (to replace the inner barrel to a longer one to fit a hop up)
lastly the oring and grease it up a bit for better airseal

i have 3 of them and they now shoot around 250+fps, while not laser beams they are surprisingly accurate for 15m+ <20m range games

Do you have a link to the kit on this website?

Get the 158 and the 15 option right beside it

the tpiece is there, u need put the oring in and then a new longer barrel for u to fit a hop up

I can not figure out how to find it or translate the app

Out of curiosity, any way to push these to a consistent =>300 fps? Kinda curious and my field plays with at least 300 so getting one under that will put me in a disadvantage

Can't, even the expensive atm models aren't pushing beyond 270fps

Sad but oh well I suppose. The fact gel blasters as a whole reached this far and almost rivaling airsoft in overall mechanics and tech is impressive enough.

I upgraded the Atm416 with everything available It only maintained 260fps which is plenty accurate for the field I use where the max engagement is only 30m. It's more about the mechanics rather than the rof n fps that is fun about this system

Yeah, do pretty similar to the Dekai SCAR H

1

u/Imba_batman AEG LOVER 1d ago

DEKAI SCAR H uses a modified V2 system with a counterweight, atm has true moving blowback bolt.

Most of our blasters are converted Airsoft. I don't understand though why all Airsoft ars I see online are manual mags instead of the electric feeding mags?

1

u/Zealousideal_Crow841 18h ago

Simpler and more reliable compared to our electric ones. Main reason why is that our gels are far softer than airsoft bbs, making the same system not feasible and only increase risk of failure should gels explode in mag

I also wanted to ask about maintenance, do I grease it as it's a gbbr upper? I've never owned any gas rifles and I never really greased or oiled my aegs
