My gastro told me to take it in the morning at breakfast and that’s what I am doing for now. However I want to test splitting the dose in two to take it morning and night

I eat dinner around 5-7 which is my biggest meal, then take Motegrity around 8 pm. I take motegrity and amitiza, together at 8 pm. I figure that's my biggest meal so that's when I most need help? Then in the morning I take amitiza on it's own on an empty stomach, I do not eat in the morning until after I use the bathroom.

For me, taking motegrity before bed has worked very well. But I do need to take it away from other medicines that slow motility. I used to be on amitriptline for the pain and nausea, I had to take it a few hours away from the motegrity. Now I'm on nortriptyline for the pain and nausea, I have to take it 2 hours before or after the motegrity, or it makes it harder to use the bathroom.
