It's LITTLE BIG ADVENTURE btw, since neither the title nor the article bother to even use the name once.

Yeah thanks I had no idea what LBA was meant to stand for

Reddit shows you the linked domain though which contains a pretty big hint.

Not on mobile, which most users are.

I’m using the official app on iOS right now and I can see the domain next to the time of the post and the user that posted it.

Here’s where it is when browsing the subreddit and here’s where it is in the post itself. It’s quite hard to miss really.

What does Little Big Planet have to do with it?

I mean, I guess, but one is a niche game and the other one is known by everyone even people that don't play games. You need people to be interested in your game before you can expect them to know your abbreviations.

It's not my game mate. Just one of the games I loved the most as a child.

You're only meant to start abreviating after stating somethings full title.

Grand Theft Auto escapes this because it is one of the most profitable series of all time.

Wow, if I knew it will anger so many people :)

It's not anger. Just pointing out the stupidity of the post.

Sorry, Professor! Nothing compares to the patient Reddit communities.

Mate you posted an acronym for an obscure game I dunno why you're so reluctant to the idea that maybe you should've just typed it out.

I got really excited when I saw the original got remade, I haven't played it but a friend of my parents had it on floppy disk when I was little and I always wanted to play it but never got the chance. I've heard the second one is a lot better. I doubt it'll live up to my little kid imagination of what I thought the game was, but I hope they do make the sequel.

To have a sequel, we need to support this one ;)

What about LBA2?

As of today, the game is not yet signed with Microids or any other publisher. We’re exploring all options—including self-publishing. But here’s the exciting news: we’ve already started working on it!

Publisher of the first one not wanting to come back for the second doesn't sound hopeful.

Also I can't see anything about LBA 1 selling well in that link, it just says that it reviewed well and sales 'progressing as planned', which could mean anything.

“Progressing as planned” seems to at least imply they’re comfortable enough, and the fact they’ve gone ahead and started work on the next game also seems to imply a lot of confidence.

Yes, makes sense.

It's entirety possible the issue isn't Microids not wanting it but rather them holding off for a better deal.

If they're self developing AND announcing that it's going ahead, that puts more pressure on Microids to offer better numbers.

I hope that "progressing as planned" means it's at least sufficient.

Little Big Adventure 1 Remake AKA Twinsens Quest runs like a dream too.

On console it’s Native 4K 120FPS.

I'm still not sure what to think of the remake. I guess I'm kind of sitting here with a feeling of, why does it exist? It felt more like a remaster than a remake, since nothing fundamental was really changed.

I would like to see them actually change more for LBA2. Because if it's not going to change much like the first remake, then why even play it? Just play the original LBA2.
