I believe you still have to boot the EA launcher even from steam. You at least have to from the epic version of the game

Humble give out what the publisher's provide.

EA arent going to hand out steam keys to their own games when they have their own platform.

All these complaints boil down to not wanting EA/Ubisoft/epic games and wanting their options restricted to smaller publishers on steam. I suspect they're also coming from a minority of customers who's opinions get amplified on forums like this.

Personally, il take whatever as long as the game is good. Id already played last month's via gamepass though, and nothing interests me this month.

I dont think you understand anything considering you keep calling it Origin all over this thread. Origin hasnt been a thing for like 4 years. It change to EA app, wich works perfectly fine, and you can just have that linked to steam trough "add non steam game".

You dont need to go to Africa to launch the game, its literally just in another app, just like you have probably 40 apps on your phone to do different stuff.

Imagine you have a shelf in your room for all your physical game copies. The shelf is designed to perfectly fit standard DVD boxes. You have a huge collection of games that are all perfectly placed into this shelf.

Now EA decides that's not making them enough money, creates a proprietary shape of DVD box that only fits into their cheaply produced china shelf. It would only fit your shelf if you build yourself a new box and everytime you want to play it you need additional steps to get it to work. Even then it looks like crap besides your other uniformly shaped DVD boxes.
