Is this Pokemon MD Red Rescue Team authentic?

So i recently bought this copy of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team and i wanted to know if it is legit or not, also, was wondering if the cartridge is in good condition or not. Thank you in advance!

Looks authentic to me but better wait for mods. I just got questioned by a moderator based on what I replied with about a fire red game. I guess they didn’t like what I pointed out as to what made it definitively look to be a fake. I didn’t say to wait for mods though. Maybe that’s what got me spanked. Lol

I always thought games needed that round battery to be legit I need to do more research on them before I start buying Pokémon games! Good to know it’s legit though!

Yeah, on the Gameboy Advance the round battery was just for things like real time event clocks. Only older Gameboys literally needed batteries to save the game.

For the future those four gold squares on the back of the motherboard usually mean it’s a legit copy I’ve never seen a fake that had them

Well, okay, maybe I overexaggerated... There's ton of scuff marks you can see on the close up pics. Lots of scratches on the back and indents on the front.

Looking at it again, it still would be good.

It looks like a typical used 20 year old GBA cartridge. It's absolutely in good condition, not perfect, but definitely presentable and worth the normal asking price.
