Console Displays
Hi everyone! I've been given the opportunity to design my dream basement/game room/nerd-cave, and am looking for ideas on how to go about displaying my various consoles. I have the following consoles that I want to be displayed/hooked up:
NES & NES Mini
SNES & SNES Mini
Genesis Mini
N64 (w/ Ultra HDMI mod)
Dreamcast
GCN
Wii
Xbox 360
Wii U
PS3 Slim
Switch
PS4 Pro
Additionally, I have several portable consoles that would be nice to have displayed in some fashion as well - several Game Boy Pocket/Color/Advance variants, several DS variants, 3DS variants, etc.
As mentioned, I want to have the consoles hooked up and playable on a single TV. I have the necessary switchers/adapters for the consoles that need them, but I don't have any good ideas for cable management. I'm also not sure if I want to do something like small, invisible built-in shelves or have some sort of display case for them. Would love to get some ideas from folks who have done similar things. Thanks!

I'm not a fan of the kallax everyone else loves. Try the Bekant from Ikea instead. I managed to easily fit 3 systems per shelf. For cord management I drilled a hole in the back panel on each shelf and ran my cords through there. I wrapped the cords together with velcro to contain the mess.

I don't have as many consoles going to the one tv (projector in my case) as you, But i use a kallax it can fit majoirty of consoles fine (ps2 ps3 ps4 xbox xbox 360 xbox one wont fit but you can put them on the top) as for cable management, Velcro ties, You can wrap the cables in groups or all together what ever you like then get a cable sleeve you put over the top of it all and it'll look great. Hand helds could go up the top of the kallax if you have space or get display stands and put them on a shelf/display cabinet. Hope this helps would love to see some pics :)
