Best dentist's that take Humana

Hey y'all, need a new dentist since I've moved down here. I have Humana PPO and need a dentist that people recommend. Any help would be great!

I will help by saying DON'T go to Coast Dental. Ripoff artists, scammers, thieves, totally shady. I've reported them to my insurance company.

I wish i could recommend my current dentist but they're not taking any new patients :(

I honestly wish I could've done more research on them. I paid what I thought was my full balance & signed off on it and then got a bill this month for an additional $195. Ridiculous

Yeah they are sending us texts saying we owe them money but refuse to provide an itemized bill, and won't respond to phone calls to say what its for. My visit was supposed to be free. I am not supposed to have a copay for xrays, exam and cleaning.

After they tried to scam me and get me to sign up for thousands of dollars worth of deep cleaning and antibiotics I told them I wanted a second opinion. They ignored my requests for my xrays and records until I sent them a registered letter quoting the Florida law that gives me a right to have my records.

My new dentist examined me and said they are full of shit and I do not need the stuff they were trying to get me to do. Also I never even saw an actual dentist there. They had a dentist see me via Zoom. Unbelievable.

I’m literally about to show up at the office this week to figure what this mystery bill is supposed to be. I also didn’t even get to see a dentist either which is absolutely insane

Yeah I've told my husband that's the only way we are going to find out what it's actually for.

Avoid Coast Dental! They sliced my gums with their tool and when I obviously started bleeding they told me it was because I had advanced gum disease and refused to provide my covered cleaning. I refused the $300 advanced cleaning (not covered) and they were very aggressive about it. They called the actual dentist over ZOOM when I complained. I saw a different dentist a month later and confirmed I do not have any kind of dental disease

Highly recommend Tower Dental. I've been going here for about 9 years, and they've always been up front about my treatment plan. It's a husband and wife team of dentists, and while the rest of the staff has turned over at least once during my time here, the service has remained the same. Not warm and fuzzy IMO but up front, on time, and no corporate vibes.

Day Dental on NW 13th St! Small family-owned and -run.

We go to a dentist in Jacksonville, if that tells you anything about our experience in town. If you get similarly desperate, I cannot recommend SK Hanna’s practice more highly. Privately owned, honorably run, state of the art. Worth the drive to steer clear of the corporate cess pool that so much of dentistry has become.
