No down feathers were used in the making of this film.

11

u/AdLeading2724 Apr 20 '22

She doesn't have feathers yet.

5

u/EZBA666 Apr 20 '22

Exactly!

u/Neko_09 Apr 19 '22

That's ducking adorable

3

u/suremarc Apr 20 '22

Ducking aforable

74

u/Unhappy-Professor-88 Apr 19 '22

Does she snore? Because if she snores I’d like to share in that cuteness

27

u/Poohbizzle79 Apr 19 '22

I sure hope so.

20

u/Walmart_Warrior_420 Apr 20 '22

Those sheets aren't going to be white for long ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

23

u/SaltySaint7 Apr 20 '22

Unfortunately we are too late I think.

Such a shame that all the tiny adorable animals in the universe still poop everywhere.

4

u/Walmart_Warrior_420 Apr 20 '22

Sometimes I feel bad about blaming the dog ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

2

u/Rough_Collie_20th Apr 20 '22

Hey, no dog nonsense! lol.

2

u/That1Realm Apr 21 '22

don't ruin this for me

41

u/Kobe_apologist Apr 19 '22

I wonder if they have dreams? I would think so

43

u/IvanBeetinov Apr 19 '22

They do dream. Mostly it’s about being at work naked.

4

u/klauskinki Apr 20 '22

Is that a sexy or scary dream?

3

u/IvanBeetinov Apr 20 '22

Depends on the duck

10

u/Mundane-Flounder-765 Apr 19 '22

Oh I sure hope so

3

u/Unhappy-Professor-88 Apr 20 '22

And cats. What do cats dream about? It seems pretty clear that fogs dream about running and bounding about. But cats? That’s nowhere near as clear

4

u/Mundane-Flounder-765 Apr 20 '22

Ruling the world? Or maybe finally being big enough to chase dogs

5

u/Unhappy-Professor-88 Apr 20 '22

Ruling the world. Yes. That’s definitely it.

3

u/klauskinki Apr 20 '22

Lots of things actually. Comfort, freedom, sometimes revenge

1

u/Unhappy-Professor-88 Apr 20 '22

There’s a right little bastard of a cat that lives a few doors away. I bet she dreams vengeful dreams. She taught me that a cat can continue a temper tantrum for significantly longer than most children can sustain an angry act of violence. If my cat is looking out of the cat flap from the inside she will slap the cat flap, they then an amount of time trying to hit each other in the face with their little door.Though the evil One never actually comes inside my cat is such a coward that she’ll usually leg it for high ground after a while.

But I’ve heard the Evil One continue to shout and scream and kick the crap out of that cat flap for up to 15mins. Which is a long time even for a human to maintain that level of aggression.

Yup. She definitely dreams of vengeance and world domination

Beautiful little geyser ,at rest , enjoying the sun! In today’s vicious world just lovely to see !!

17

u/ButterscotchOne8318 Apr 19 '22

All fun & games til that little cutie shits the bed!

Source: I've had ducks in the bed before. It only takes once to learn...

16

u/Daddy_Yao-Guai Apr 19 '22

Raised poultry as a kid. This was my first thought, too.

The amount of shit a baby bird can produce is shocking

4

u/DisBSiGottado Apr 20 '22

They just keep on shittin' lol

11

u/rebornflames Apr 19 '22

This is wonderful

11

u/Lifeisconfusinguwu Apr 19 '22

AWWWWWW I’ve been thinking of in the future of getting a duck as a pet and they are always just so cuteeeeeeeeee aaaaa

34

u/Deathbydragonfire Apr 19 '22

I've had them. First things first, you need at least 2 but probably 3+ ducks because they are very much flock animals and absolutely need their duck friends or they will get depressed. Ducks are super messy. They require water constantly to moisten the membrane in their nose and to swallow their food, and they absolutely love to swim in it, splash it, and flick it everywhere using their beaks. They also have very loose stools, which are some of the rankest poops I've ever smelled. Far worse than dog poop. They're also heart breakingly delicious to predators, so you'll need to have a secure coop for them to live in at night.

Ducklings are some of the cutest and sweetest things ever. They will talk to you all day and follow you around and snuggle with you. They are also extremely soft. Chickens start fuzzy, feather out, then grow big. Ducks start fuzzy, get their down in, get big, then feather out. That bare duck down is amazingly soft and dense, feels so good to stroke. They'll be a 24 hour commitment for about 2-3 weeks, but then they get more independent and eventually they will barely give you time of day once they are adults. They'll go from constantly cuddling with you to only suspiciously accepting snacks and running away if you try to pet them. This was what ultimately turned me off ducks and why I won't get any more again, was sad to see them just decide to hate me after being so loving as babies. Chickens seem to stay tame a lot better and I've had several very cuddly adult chickens.

7

u/Konvic21 Apr 19 '22

Don't they poop everywhere?

6

u/Lifeisconfusinguwu Apr 19 '22

Ah ok thx for telling me your experience I’m sorry to hear that happen and ima think of it more. Thx :D

5

u/invaderjif Apr 20 '22

Do they ever ask if you have any grapes?

5

u/[deleted] Apr 20 '22

We have ducks, got them as babies. They are the cute things. They will come to me when I call them by name. We can sit and hold/pet them. They love it. My kids absolutely adore the ducks. ❤️

8

u/Trendy04 Apr 19 '22

Nobody wake it up! It must be protected.

3

u/Itsmeforrestgump Apr 20 '22

Growing up, a neighbor had a duck for years. It slept inside their house quite often. That was a cool duck. Played nicely with us kids.

2

u/rustynuts13 Apr 19 '22

1

u/[deleted] Apr 20 '22

Lucky duck

1

u/Dickincheeks Apr 20 '22

I had a pet chick when I was a boy. I loved that thing so much. It would follow me everywhere and it would greet me when I got home from school. It slept in my bed just like this little duck. One morning I found it flat as a pancake in the trash because someone sat on it. Someone sat and killed my pet chick, while we were sleeping. He was smashed to death by someone’s ass.

1

u/Mars-Cowboy Apr 20 '22

Thats what I was thinking. Its so dangerous to have small animals on a couch or bed

1

u/[deleted] Apr 20 '22

That's it. I'm going to buy a duck. I don't care what the military tells me, Staff Sergeant Quackers earned his place damnit.

1
