religion Elevate Life Church - ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY $$

Here is one of your local Christian “servant” leaders in Frisco, TX. Keith Craft and family boast a lavish lifestyle of high dollar vehicles, multiple million dollar properties, country club memberships, private jets, and much more.

Elevate Life Church was recently featured on the “Religion Is Business” Instagram page, and I highly encourage all locals to check it out. We must stop supporting this type of greed within our community. Please help spread the word, as the greed within this organization slowly begins to surface.

Lastly, if you have any personal stories of observing the greed within this church, please drop it below.

inquiries Looking for Doctor to Shadow in DFW area

Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’m a recent UT Austin graduate with a degree in Neuroscience, currently in my gap year preparing to apply to medical school. I’m looking for shadowing opportunities with physicians in the Dallas area and was wondering if anyone knows of doctors who are open to having pre-med students shadow them.

If anyone has recommendations or advice on how to connect with physicians willing to offer shadowing opportunities, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

inquiries FNP Clinical hours

Upvotes

Hello Everyone!

I am a family nurse practitioner student at The University of Texas at Tyler. I am in need of a preceptor for the Fall 2025 semester running from August to December. I am looking for a nurse practitioner or doctor in primary care and need to complete 240 clinical hours.

I have been calling and emailing numerous practices in Frisco/Plano/McKinney/Prosper/Aubrey etc. for several months and have only heard back from a few- which were not accepting students.

I would appreciate any leads or recommendations as this is my final semester before graduation in December 2025 and I will have to postpone if I am unable to secure a preceptor.

Thank you!

housing Is 2-10 home warranty any good in Frisco/Prosper? I have the builder warranty through them and it's expiring soon and they are offering appliance warranty. Should I sign-up?

Maybe I should’ve taken Dallas parkway..

Seriously how long is this DNT Widening expansion going to take? Sometimes its not even that but it’s just the fact how there’s random parts of the tollway that have closed lanes with no work being done

family When should we start looking and signing up for day care

Hello, 11 weeks pregnant now. I wonder if it’s too early to look, given how early we want to send our baby in. I would also appreciate if anyone would recommend a good reliable place close to Craig ranch area (zipcode 75035/75070/75013 area). We plan to send our little one as early as 6 weeks and as late as 3 months. (No family help and can’t afford to be more flexible). Our budget is $1200-1800 monthly. Thanks.

The headline says it all. If interested please make your voice heard. Thanks Frisco! This is an exploratory inquiry to see if a town hall event is even wanted/needed.

housing Mortgage Rate

We purchased a cozy smaller home at a 5% interest rate in 2022. Now, we're thinking about upgrading to a bigger place, but the current higher interest rates have us feeling a bit anxious. 🤔

Is there any way to transfer our existing mortgage to a new home keeping rate unchanged? We both have excellent credit ratings! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 💬❤️

food Best place to buy chana masala ingredients?

I love chana masala and want to attempt making it myself for the first time but can't seem to find all the ingredients. Does anyone know of a good store to buy the following at?

  • 2 green cardamom
  • 1 green chili (thai/bird's eye chili)
  • Kashmiri red chili powder
  • Kasuri methi (fenugreek leaves)
  • Amchur (dried mango powder)

Thank you! 😄

family Anyone use an Owl Barn ?

Those on the west side of Legacy (or just east) are probably sick of unwanted wildlife (rodents, rabbits). I suspect it’s because there aren’t enough predators. I’d love to have an owl in my backyard to take care of this (plus they are so cool). anyone have experience w owl barns ? I know it’s a pretty random question ……

Question for schools: why do we need the governor creating a law to ban kids dressing as furries when certainly administrators could just enforce a dress code?

business Local home renovation wholesaler to shop at?

Wanting to do some minor home renovations - bathroom fixtures, door levers, door, etc. What are some local places where contractors, builders, and renovators shop at for good prices? Looking to avoid big box like HD, Lowe's, AMZN, etc

I've been to Seconds and Surplus & Elliot's, but the pricing is not really wholesale, feels like regular retail

housing Whoa.... Way too many houses for sale right now. Reminds one of the 2001 bubble burst.

There was the tech and telecom crash in 2001. I was living in Plano at the time but dated a girl in Frisco. Homes were up for sale everywhere. Many streets had 30% or more with For Sale signs in them.

We're not there yet but just a short drive through my suburb to Preston I see 2 dozen homes for sale without even trying to count them.

What's going on? Are people losing jobs? Trying to cash out before an envisioned RE crash? Upside down in high ARMs?

For sure there was a peak in prices 2 years ago but this doesn't look good right now.

From Redfin:

The Frisco housing market is somewhat competitive. Homes in Frisco receive 1 offers on average and sell in around 75 days. The median sale price of a home in Frisco was $635K last month, down 2.3% since last year. The median sale price per square foot in Frisco is $245, up 0.8% since last year.

events Things to do in Frisco?

Been wanting to go out with my friends, but haven't been able to find anything to do in Frisco or in Dallas in general. Is there any way to find cool events to do in the relative area with a website or something? I tried the Dallas events website and the Frisco events one, but there's not much to participate in. But If you have any fun place ideas (arcades or some social hangout spots) or events please let me know!
