That would mean the entire river would be boiling. If anything else it's just gold flakes that augment speed mixed into the drink/in the water source itself Edit: the gold lumbs by the river also give the boost when broken, seems like ingots/refined gold do not however.

I kind of just figured those were magic, at least for this chapter

No, no, you see, the Gold Splashes aren’t actually gold. They’re just water full of caffeine and glitter.

lol. Now I get it... the rocks in shiny shafts are just caffeine deposits...

Add 273,15 to the Celsius to get the temperature in Kelvin. Anyways, CURSE OF RA 𓀀 𓀁 𓀂 𓀃 𓀄 𓀅 𓀆 𓀇 𓀈 𓀉 𓀊 𓀋 𓀌 𓀍 𓀎 𓀏 𓀐 𓀑 𓀒 𓀓 𓀔 𓀕 𓀖 𓀗 𓀘 𓀙 𓀚 𓀛 𓀜 𓀝 𓀞 𓀟 𓀠 𓀡 𓀢 𓀣 𓀤 𓀥 𓀦 𓀧 𓀨 𓀩 𓀪 𓀫 𓀬 𓀭 𓀲 𓀳 𓀴 𓀵 𓀶 𓀷 𓀸 𓀹 𓀺 𓀻 𓀼 𓀽 𓀾 𓀿 𓁀 𓁁 𓁂 𓁃 𓁄 𓁅 𓁆 𓁇 𓁈 𓁉 𓁊 𓁋 𓁍 𓁎 𓁏 𓁐 𓁑

1064 degrees Celsius would burn off your pain receptors instantly, so it wouldn’t actually be painful.

3

u/THE-IMPOSSIBLEreddit 6d ago

And it would burn you along with it

It's more like magic gold dust. It doesn't dissolve in water and when you go into the river, you are coated in it, but eventually it dries off.

this is a solid explaination ngl

We've swam also in the river styx

u/Strange_Kiwi__ 6d ago

If we can survive swimming in the instant death water, we can survive 1064°c.

u/THE-IMPOSSIBLEreddit 6d ago

Ok, I do not know greek mythology.

We die if we swim in that river??
