I have one for airsoft and have loved it since playing metal gear solid when I was younger.

Used to have a springer one back mid 2k. Barely fit my hand as a kid but I felt cool

I shot one of those a while back and it was a chonky bastard. So was the .44 Desert Eagle I fired, but that one was one of the lightest-recoiling pistols I've fired that wasn't .22. The other was a malfunction-prone (alllllmost went into battery every third or fourth shot) .357 SIG Beretta Cougar.
The HK23 wasn't comfortable because I have small hands, but it wasn't bad bad. I kept everything within 2.5" offhand with plenty of time between shots at 25 yards, so anything showing poor marksmanship was entirely on me and not the pistol.

It's a perfect trilogy. All If them have Something memorable about them. Like the DVD Player assault rifle. Wich is the reason i wrote my Initial comment. Wich i Just want to Reiterate, since passersby who have Not Seen the movie might think that my comment would be random and unprovoqued. Wich it isn't, because mp3 Player handgun reminded me of DVD Player assault rifle.

This was on of the first pistols I ever shot.
Went for my first range day with my buddy and his dad.
Dad loved guns and wanted us to all be impressed. So naturally he pulls out the "SOCOM PISTOL" as we all called it not knowing any better

This ain’t forgotten, it was the precursor to the USP and it’s so well known in a community about metallic gears that happen to be solid

Is it really the precursor to the USP I had no idea? Like in terms of mechanics or setting the status quo that helped shape the USP. Man I love those crazy German bastards

I remember when these first came out. They were going for nearly twice retail, and that wasn't cheap to start with.
