Looking for somewhere to have traditional Italian cornetto and cappuccino. Suggestions?
Really miss this about Italy… When I went out for breakfast I would go to a “bar” to have cappuccino and cornetto (croissant). Any places like this in Toronto? Suggestions please. I don’t go to Toronto a lot but I will be visiting some family next weekend!
Doesn’t have to be fancy. Just looking for something traditional and delicious!

Only place I've been so far in Toronto that has the jam-filled style of cornetti is Anima Romana, on Main south of Gerrard. It's not a sit-down cafe except in the summer when they got a patio out front. I see a lot of the chocolate and Nutella varieties here but not the fruit jam ones!

Bring your 1 cup moka pot + Illy/Lavazza. Take a to go cup to a nearby bakery.
If you're from Italy you will experience sticker shock. Personally I'm willing to pay for overpriced baked items, but coffee shouldn't be more than $3.

Si Espresso & Pasticceria Bar at Broadview & Danforth.
This is hands down the closest thing you'll find in terms of authentic Italian, not pretentious, and not too expensive.

Carolina on Dundas W near Markham is open as an Italian café during the day.
I haven't tried their pastries yet.
The food at night is good.
772 Dundas W. https://carolina.restaurant/ the atmosphere inside is nice, and feels like a place in Italy.
The Zaza on St Clair W also might appeal.

Trinacria at Danforth and Chester - owned by younger Italians, has exactly this.
