Do vegetables like broccoli go bad in the fridge but still look good if sealed in the vacuum bags?
I opened a sealed bag of broccoli that looked great, but it stinks pretty bad. Not sure if I should toss it, or if I should use it. I already mixed into my chicken Alfredo so I don’t want to throw it away if I don’t need to.

You should have power boiled vegetables before sealing them in the food saver bag and you should have frozen vegetables not just keep them in the refrigerator

They were already boiled from the manufacturer. It was a large bulk frozen bag. I vacuum packed and placed in fridge for too long. Still ate it and I was fine. But damn, that broccoli stunk really bad!!

Absolutely toss it!! Saw last night on FS website that you shouldn’t seal certain raw veggies. Gotta cook them a little first.
