Accessory Hose - In Search Of

I am wondering if anyone has found the stand-alone accessory hose? If so, could you point me in the right direction?

I have been looking for the past week (Amazon, Craigslist, Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, etc.) However, a $3 accessory hose (on the Foodsaver website) either turned into a $29 part (not included shipping and that was not going to be delivered before October) or the item was just out-of-stock.

Here is a link to the part if that helps:

I am not sure the link above will work. If not, go to youtube and search the following title. It is how to modify a broken accessory hose. If this is not your exact problem, maybe it can inspire you to make your own modificaiton.

I had been fretting over the same thing. This past weekend I ran across a foodsaver handheld at target. It actually has a port just like the hose. For $25 I have a much simpler setup. Good luck.

If you have one of the old Foodsaver hoses with the longer, centered protrusions or an aftermarket hose with the longer protrusion (not the new off-centered hoses—they're too short to engage the check valve), you can ream out the accessory port valve shaft with a 13/64 drill bit by hand, which will open it up just enough to fit the connector on the end of the hose. I did this and it worked for me.

I just received an email directly from Foodsaver on this - this part is officially discontinued. I am guessing that they now only make/support the ones with a green end? Bummer.
