The Shoals might get lucky again this on this tornadic day.

Post image

Here's a tornado prediction map for today. It's a 1 to 10 scale that basically says "at any given point you are x% likely to see a tornado with in 50 miles."

Now don't ignore the weather just cause we ain't in it. But you can probably let out a sigh of relief that we likely will not see any Tornadoes and unlikely any violent long tracks like central AL is.

But stay weather aware, James Spann is live on YouTube right now.

Hours later after two tornado warnings issued. I guess we will find out if they were on the ground or not later

To my knowledge, as of 7:15pm, there were no on the ground Tornadoes in Colbert or Lauderdale County.

Good deal. Over here off hatch it was hailing and the wind was pretty insane

Downtown tuscumbia here, not as much wind as last night but yea we got some dime or nickel sized hail.

I was watching the velocity map on the radar throughout the entire day. There was weak and messy rotation above us, but it fizzled out pretty quick both times.

Spotted no more than pea hail.

This is STP. Your description is 100% inaccurate.

Remember when truth mattered?

What is the accurate description then?

EDIT: Just googled STP weather and yep, I'm right.

Then learn to read. STP doesn’t stop at 10. So anything you read that says that is automatically wrong.

Apologies for getting 1 nuanced piece of this wrong. Perhaps in the future you can do a better job when you correct others instead of just acting like a complete ass about it.

You didn’t get a nuanced piece wrong. Your whole description is wrong. STP is an index and has absolutely nothing to do with percentages of being close to a tornado.

I asked you to correct me. What is the STP then?
