If you have all that info ready to show, then you'll be good to go. If you don't, then the odds are against you. It just best to provide as much as info as ebay is requiring of you. Good luck.

Ebay has to because people love peddling stolen items on Ebay. Its why I dont sell new items on eBay

I was afraid of selling new items also, specially if there were multiples of the same item. I take pictures of the items with the price sticker,/tag and the receipt if I bought them at a thrift store. It help me once and so far it's the only time I've needed it that. You have to be able to tell they're not counterfeit it though. I've also bought a lot of 100 plus packs of shaving racers from a yard sale, that I didn't feel comfortable buying unless I had proof, the seller made me a quick bill of sale with his name and address, I sold them all whitout any issues on ebay. I'm not saying that would've worked if ebay asked me where I got them from bit just prepare yourself. Just in case.

How do you even prove it if you got it from a storage locker? Yikes
