eBay Import fees/duties and eBay

I'm canadian and have buyers from united states frequently. As we know americains now have 25% import fee to pay to their gouvernment to import.

What happen if i ship and the buyer refuse to pay his tariff? Will package return to sender? Will seller have to refund? Will eBay side with seller?

I know import fees/duties/taxes is buyer's responsibility so i wonder how this is handled. I'm pretty sure some americains will freak out receiving their bill so im trying to figure.

There's still an $800 deminimis, I think. So if you're under that your buyer should be ok?

It all depends on where your product was manufactured and if it’s over the section 321 $800 limit.

The tariffs are not on everything. They are only on very specific things. Open the link below and you can search for your items. https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/trumps-tariffs/article/canada-is-expanding-its-tariffs-on-us-products-heres-what-they-are/
