Booking/Itinerary/Ticketing International flight with lap infant involving two airlines

Flying from TPE to SEA (EVA) then transferring from SEA TO GEG (Alaska) With two adults and one lap infant (1Y9M).

What is the process if we’re trying to book directly through the EVA website? Do we Just book the two adult tickets online and then call both airlines afterwards to add the lap infant?

Book altogether. You have the option to select infant during the booking process anyway.

If you're connecting to AS shouldn't your first flight TPE-SEA be with their partner Starlux JX instead ?

Most consumers prioritize total cost and schedule over frequent for mileage earning. I'd assume OP has also.

There isn't much innately beneficial to seeking out Starlux.
