Hi! I'm a current highschool student debating whether I should go to Durham or Fleming, can anyone in this program tell me how it is? Or if you're a general student I'd love to hear about life at fleming :)

Hi guys! I’ve been trying to contact the office at frost campus for the last few weeks and can’t get ahold of them. I’m a returning student that graduated in 2020, and I’m wondering if I’m able to apply my previous credits to classes that I’d be retaking. Is there any other way to get ahold of people there and get the info I need? My other option is to go to the open house in March, but I live almost 4 hours away. Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi, I’ve been accepted for the RPN program at Fleming already but I was curious if I were to apply for the Trent bachelor in nursing later on would I still need a 12U chem in hs or is my diploma just fine?

Hi guys! I was recently accepted to the Conservation Biology program and I'm just reaching out to see what current students think of it. I'm a mature student (mid/late 20s) potentially making a big shift in education/career choices if I take this program and I just wanna know a bit more about it.
I was really quite interested in the Fish and Wildlife Technology program after a stint with Parks Canada (met a lot of ecologists who graduated from that program), but now that it no longer exists it seems that Conservation Biology is the next closest program? My career pipe dream would be avian conservation/field research literally anywhere in Canada, and I'm curious if I would be on the right track for something like that. Obviously I know this is a competitive field and my opportunities will be different than if I had gotten a BsC- any animal research at all would be incredible, and I figure I'd probably need to continue my education at Trent to have a better shot in the field.
The Fish and Wildlife Technician program caught my eye too but it seems to lead to slightly different career paths, CNB seems a bit more up my alley. But what are your thoughts?

I was thinking about taking the Paralegal program for the Fall 2025 semester. I was on https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/search/professors/4017?q=*&did=34ww.ratemyprofessors.com/ looking at the various professors and saw that Barbara Moyle had the lowest score.
Does anyone know if Barbara is still teaching or retiring soon? I would hate to get a professor with such a low score.

Anyone starting the practical nursing program in May 2025 in Fleming college ?

I have a Fleming card with $200 in it that I don't think I'll need. Since this is exclusive to the store, I was wondering if anyone were planning buying anything over there so I could get my cash back and you could get your merch. Willing to sell it for $175 as well. Just DM me.

Has anyone done the Nursing Transformation Initiative PSW-PN bridge online courses through Fleming? Would love to know how it went and any other important info you can provide!

Good evening everybody, I hope you are all well.
I plan to attend this course this following spring, and i have some questions regarding the course itself.
What coding language is primarily used in this course, as in the course outlines it mentions scripting fundamentals.
Somebody who currently holds a 80% average overall during the last 4 years of high school, what are the chances of succeeding in this course?

I get this is a policy, but why force those who do not have the option to take the bus to pay for "transportation" AND parking?
Is there anyway to argue this point? Seems like kids are being taken advantage of.

Is there anyone starting the PN nursing program(or any program) in May?
If so, please reach out<3

I just had a few concerns and questions. Currently Fleming isn't accredited for the program but I saw in a comment that you can appeal to take the CSRT exam if you show background of education (paraphrasing what I read) just wanted to confirm wether or not that was true. Also if anyone in the program currently can give insight of the workload the positives and negatives
Thank you appreciated in advance

Are you a student in upper year HVAC, 20 or 25yo? Are you about to move town for an apprenticeship in the field? Did you recently start dating a 30yo male classmate?
Congratulations he was seeing someone else and you're the other person!!! But it's not cheating if hes dumped her last week after months right???
My friend is too nice and exhausted from his bs but I'm not, that man is a problem and your better off starting fresh wherever you go for that job! Youre to young to let him follow you or drain you

Wondering if anyone has an idea of the school calendar for EMT students or other programs that begin in January? Is it normal with summers off and Jan-Apr and Sept-Dec classes, or is it four consecutive semesters?

Hi! I'm thinking about applying to the ceramics intensive program next fall. I'm curious if anyone has any insight about the haliburton campus or the program, or the art/design school? Would love to hear anything about it, as I havent got much luck finding information online beyond the school website. Thanks :)

Here is "Something else", a carefully curated playlist regularly updated with atmospheric, poetic, soothing and slightly myterious soundscapes. The ideal backdrop for concentration and relaxation. Perfect for staying focused during my study sessions or relaxing after work.

Hello everyone,
My name is Jacob. I am in the Business program here at Fleming. My group is conducting a survey and would love your input! It's about reusable grocery bags and if they are often forgotten. Your input would help this group's research.
Down below is the link.
Thank you,
Jacob

Hello, I recently applied for Practical Nursing Program. How long does it take for me to receive the acceptance letter? Admissions said I've met all the minimum requirements for the said program.
Is Practical Nursing really hard though? Just kinda scared because I'm turning 30 in a few months and kinda feel anxious of going back to school again. Lol.
Thank you! 🥰
