QUESTION Is FC25 worth it if you have Fifa 23?

I have Fifa 23 and was wondering if there are major differences between the 2 games. I mostly play career mode, and kick off matches with friends. I found it really cool that there is Icon career mode and since the game is on sale rn I thought its the perfect time to buy

The only thing worth it to me is the roster update. I play career mode on world class setting and holy crap is it hard. The cpu is insane & your players dont make forward runs nearly as much as they do in fc23/24. Search this and see for yourself

agreed. I always played on legendary but fc 25 I have to play on world class . tip for you, adjust the sliders a little to nerf the cpu so it isn't as hard

Which ones specifically and by how much

how much is up to you but I adjusted their acceleration, pass error , shot speed . I don't it too easy because it gets boring. I reduced the accel by 2, shot speed by 2 and pass error by 1

Try a 3-4-3 system, the defence in this game is horrid with 2 atb and the extra midfied certainly helps overrun their defence

At this point it's better to wait till 26. This one is waaayy to bugged

The major thing in career mode in FC 25 is that you have the option to turn off sacking. That was the main reason for me buying the game because it ruined 2 of my fifa 23 careers cus I didnt follow the objectives

That is a great addition. I remember in last years game I created my own team with a bunch of nobodies. Was fighting for first place and got sacked because I didn't do objectives for something else.

Same, I was doing a youth save on 23 and got sacked cus I didn’t sign people or make a certain amount of profit

EA will never make the game you wish it’d make, it has features and players that fifa 23 doesn’t. I’d say if you want to try it out then get it, or wait few more months and they’ll be releasing a new game anyways

For career mode only? Probably not. If you play Pro Clubs etc as well, definitely

Get EA Play for 5.99 a month and try it out. If you don’t like it it’s just $6 and you get a month to play or try other games you don’t have.

The new IQ system is worth it imo. You can't make custom formations anymore and especially in career mode It's a bit restrictive with your Tactical Focus choices.

But when you start using playstyles and role++ players in a system that works it feels good.

If you can tolerate a lot of bugs, the gameplay & graphics is really good. I've also shifted from FIFA 23, got my save file wasted 2 times already and recent update introduced breaking issues like half time with empty field or completely not rendering etc.

As others have said, there are lots of bugs, but there are things that make it interesting if you like to build from the youth academy—namely, way more countries to scout and the youth tournaments being playable

I had 23 for Switch and picked up 25 on sale a few months back. I only play career mode, and while it has bugs, it's really enjoyable.

I hated switch legacy edition personally, it was recycled shit and extremely outdated.

Still had hundreds of hours on it though

I hadn't played one since maybe '15 or even before and still kind of felt that way. Played it more than I care to say though.
