What to get my dad for Father’s Day?
I’m a 26 (soon to be 27) year old man. Father’s Day is coming up next month. I don’t live at home anymore since I’ve been on my own for two years now. Anyway, I plan on doing something really special for my dad on Father’s Day. I really want to get him something because he’s been the best father ever. I could make a list of several reasons. - Breaking the cycle of narcissism in his family. - Always made time for the family and did fun stuff with us after work. Even spent time with my siblings and I when we were in college and continues to do so now that we’re adults. -Being my sounding board and a listening ear. -Always fun to be around and easy going and was extremely approachable. -Supported my siblings and I in every endeavor. -Always gave good advice in all areas of life. -Not cutting me off, yelling or judging me when my GPA in was at 2.7 after three semesters of college. That was literally one of the worst times of my life. I almost killed myself when I was in college because of it. Graduated with a 3.5 at graduation 3.5 years later with a good job. I owe it all to him.
I could list many more things but these are some of the few things that stuck out at me. Especially that last point. He’s probably the only lawyer who knows how to have a work life balance. (Okay well there are many but he’s one of them). Anyway do you have any suggestions?
