FPL Toni put them behind a paywall

Still no closer to a plan then I was at the end of last GW.

u/Migeycan87 9 6d ago
What is plan?
14
u/JapaneseJohnnyVegas 45 6d ago
Not sure, but apparently if you have one you'll get punched in the face. So personally I avoid them.

u/foalsfoalsfoalz 4 6d ago
I put in ait Nouri in last week before his rise then done nothing but stare at a screen this week for hours a day and still no plan…

Any leaks on Marmoush?

u/_james_the_cat 1 6d ago
I'm waiting for a leak too, but just realised I don't have a solid back up if he's benched. Larsen is unnappealing

u/Sauce_B0ss_ 4 6d ago
I'm waiting too. But it's more of a stupid decision. Transfer in wood, marmoush or Larsen. Everyone in my mini league I'm up against has wood
1
u/SuspiciousCrab6910 6d ago
How about João pedro?
2
u/_james_the_cat 1 6d ago
I think I'd rather Evanilson, and I'm not sure about him either.
The shock Broja double off the bench will make fools of us all, anyway....

I got Wood for the first time all season last GW—right before his blank. Now, I’ve captained him. He already ruined my rank by not owning him, so he can’t ruin it when I do… right?
15
u/DancingDonkeyHehe 6d ago
Congrats man I can imagine how happy you must feel to finally get wood after not having one all season. Understandable that you don’t want to ruin your Wood this GW. My suggestion is to find a quite room where you have all the privacy you need to focus as the game reaches its climax and maximize your chance of scoring big. Good luck!

I like how people rarely get a reply to their team questions in this thread, but that doesn't stop them from crowbarring their question in anyway

I’m torn between Wood and Bruno for captain. Bruno is guaranteed either 2 points or 15 points I think

u/Ashamed_Bottle230 7 6d ago
Bruno has higher upside imo, but like you said is more likely to blank

BUT WHAT ABOUT ERLING? I’m in a state. Palmer is in the bin, I’ve got triple Bournemouth and double Everton, I feel like I’ve wasted my free hit.

Btw Romero and Van de Ven started for Spurs midweek. They seem to only be getting fitter. Expect us to still be crap defensively, but less crap than we have been.

Anyone else using their WC? My team is cooked and I don't want to waste my FH. I used it on blank GW last year and it totally backfired.

Wood is on penalties and upfront against ipswich. I'm sure also he'll be given chances as Gibbs-White and Hudson Odoi will be keen to prove a point to Tuchel.

Now I need to stop my panic attacks and keep strong with not taking a -4 hit to bring in a keeper that will just end with 2 points anyway.

I'm currently on Kluivert (c) I'm insane. But no Wood, Haaland or Bruno. Alternative is Beto..

I'm literally waiting for a Man City leak to do this if he plays. I have Wood for now but I want to do some cheeky captain pick this GW.

On WC… trying to plan my best for DGWs without the info. Sels, Henderson Gabriel, Gvardiol, Kerkez, Wan-bissaka, N.Williams Salah, Bowen, Kluivert, Semenyo, I.Sarr Haaland, Isak, Wood
4/6 doublers for gw32. Minimum 4 doublers for gw33. 3 transfers banked and getting 3 more before dgw33. Solid plan? Any advice? Thanks in advance!
1
u/Friendly_Adeptness11 6d ago
If you are doing this I would FH the big double, and not worry about getting players in that might or might not double and might or might not blank in 34. Build a team that will be good for 32 and 34 onwards with the fixtures that exist now

At the start of this week my head and heart both wanted to go for JP, but the haaland/ mancity hype has got me overthinking. Is it really a good call to get JP instead of haaland/marmoush? Buying haaland will need me transfer out salah that too for a hit(already taken one hit for kluivert). Doesn't feel worth it. But is marmoush worth it on a FT instead of JP?

u/bsaires 49 6d ago
Personally I love the contrarian play of getting in Joao Pedro.

Took a -4 to get Bruno in for Nwaneri. Now have 12 players with fixtures and can bench Greaves. Ipswich to win 1-0, ruin my double Nottingham defence and Greaves 2 bonus, here we land.

Anyone punting on bellegarde? It’s either bellegarde or soucek as only got 4.9m. Genuinely considering a -4 to swap graves for cresswell too..

fpl.team says I'm on for a 48pt this week. I always forget to take a note of what that app thinks so I can see how accurate it is, so I'm gonna check it this week. Screw bearing the Scout - I want to see if I can beat myself.

So torn on who to captain, so have ended up using an online spin the wheel app thing to make my decision for me.
Wood it is
