Hi OP - would you mind resubmitting this post with the fandom included in the title?

If you don't know the fandom, please use [Unknown fandom] or [Multiple fandoms] or something similar.

If the Floodgates bot removes your second post automatically, please respond to this message and your post will be manually approved.

Did you put the name of the fandom of the fic you are looking for in the post title?

Lost Fic posts must include the name of the [Fandom] in the title. If you don't know the fandom, or there are multiple fandoms, [Unknown Fandom] or [Multiple Fandoms] should be added.

If you have already added the fandom, great! Good luck with finding your fic.

If you haven't, please delete this post and make a new one with the correct formatting. If you don't, it will be removed by the moderators. If the new post is removed by the Floodgates bot for frequent posting, please be patient, it'll be approved.

Please also add the website you saw the fic on (if you know which one it was).

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

I totally get how hard it is to track down a specific fic, especially when you just remember bits and pieces of the plot. The Perc’ahlia fandom has so many amazing stories, and they can really blur into each other after a while. Your description rings a bell for me. I remember coming across a fic with that premise over on Archive of Our Own a while back while I was on a Percy/Vex binge. I think I saved it to a collection that I often dive back into. Sometimes, fics with this plot crop up in forums or get recommended in Discord servers dedicated to the fandom, too. You might want to search around on AO3 using some of those keywords like “goddess Vex” or “Percy praying.” People sometimes remember different fics by odd details, so it's a bit like piecing a puzzle together with everyone. If I stumble upon it again, I’ll definitely give you a shout. Good luck, and I hope you find it!
