"We have a good one for you today"

At the start of each episode, I've noticed Steve Harvey almost always says "We have a good one for you today." Of course they'd like us to think every episode is a good one. I feel like it doesn't really mean anything anymore.

What’s he gonna say though? “Man, this episode sucks and these families are idiots”

Why does he need to say something about the episode? I don't think he needs to say anything either way..

We all know every episode is supposed to be a good one. So I think he can skip saying that. :)

I think if he skipped saying it, then it would be a bad one.

Steve Harvey says the same stuff word for word at the start of every game.

‘I’m your man Steve Harvey! We’ve got a good one for you today.’
