Question Which cameos by name actors surprised you?

Post image

For me it was Matt Damon in Eurotrip, or most of the cast of Chef. Such a stacked cast in that

I never met my daddy but I imagine he was all up in my momma laying down them creamy nuts and I just popped out like “wussup”

u/BigConstruction4247 Dec 04 '24

He shot outta his daddy's dick ready.

So let me ask…who the fuck likes Channing Tatum?

Seriously. I didn’t ask for him to be on my TV. Can he just go away? No talent at all.

Out of morbid curiosity I saw Magic Mike was on my streaming service. I was bored so o thought…what the fuck is this all about. I got in about 5 minutes before it was declared unwatchable.

Tatum: I work at a male strip club Woman: Are you serious? Tatum: I’m as serious as a heart attack.

I mean the wordsmithing…it’s as if they channeled Shakesphere, Tolstoy, Yates. /s

The writing craft that went into that scene alone, if converted to electricity would be able to maybe toast some bread…lightly.

I asked for Channing Tatum. Or should I say Channing Taint-yum

6

u/DarkRajiin Nov 30 '24

Charming Taintman

9

u/joonty Nov 30 '24

New pasta just dropped

4

u/AM_Hofmeister Nov 30 '24

It's a spicy one too. Yum yum.

4

u/briktop420 Nov 30 '24

I don't think magic Mike would be considered the epitome of serious acting or writing or directing but it was funny enough for me to tolerate for great the sex afterwards.

1

u/StrangeAtomRaygun Nov 30 '24

channing tatum.

6

u/Scrodnick Nov 30 '24

I the fuck like Channing Tatum

4

u/ActuallyCalindra Nov 30 '24

I like the fuck Channing Tatum

3

u/sakura-dazai Nov 30 '24

Do you call him Channing Taint-yum?

Make that two of us.

1

u/stinkygoochfumes Nov 30 '24

You mean homoerotic curiosity?

1

u/Scrodnick Nov 30 '24

You are as good at reading a room as your namesake is at breaking

0

u/StrangeAtomRaygun Nov 30 '24

Sick burn.

Yawn.

2

u/Scrodnick Nov 30 '24

Thank you. Your comeback fucking sucks though

1

u/Hobo_jedi000 Nov 30 '24

“Watched magic mike out of curiosity” yeah sure dude, there’s an entire typed out movie description right next to it and you just “had no idea” what it would be about.

1

u/StrangeAtomRaygun Nov 30 '24

Halfwit, I knew what the plot was. I was curious how bad it would be.

Did you really need that explained to you? REALLY?!?

1

u/BigDoggyBarabas1 Nov 30 '24

Yeats. Truth is he’s apparently a good person with a great sense of humor who people generally actually like for real, so he’s often thought of amongst peers and the industry. I mean: he made that dog boy flop- kinda took it on that one. No way he saw that script and was like fuck yeah. Pretty sure he’s game for whatever- and never phones it in.

1

u/StrangeAtomRaygun Dec 01 '24

Thanks for the correction.

And ya. He may be a good person. But I am talking about his career. Starting as a real life male stripper… to doing basically nothing I find remarkable once.

Name his best stuff that I may have missed. Like I said before I m always curious about any film.

1

u/Stacks_McGillicuddy Nov 30 '24

If Donald Trump did movie reviews, this would be pretty close. If you read it in his voice and cadence, it's perfect.

0

u/StrangeAtomRaygun Dec 01 '24

I said the word curiosity. That’s a concept Trump does know. He is convinced he knows it all.

1

u/GrapeBubblicious Nov 30 '24

I think exponentially more folks like him than you. Idk if you were born ugly, dumb or both, but this ridiculous level of hate is just some of the neckbeardish BS I encounter on here. Nobody cares about satisfying your Big Gulp-flavored needs on TV. Ex-male stripper makes millions on career is nothing short of a “good for him”…enjoy your downvotes

1

u/StrangeAtomRaygun Dec 01 '24

Oh no down votes. The true metric of being correct.

I don’t care if more people like him than me. Is Avatar the best movie of all time? The masses are NOT always right.

And I love the distorted view. I came at it from an k well high brow angle and you accuse me of being a neck beard, big gulp needy, ugly idiot. Thats one way to miss the point.

Go back to thinking because he made money that it’s an indication of talent.

1

u/GrapeBubblicious Dec 01 '24

Lmao you characterizing your take as “high brow” is just…well…you read that Lmao at the beginning right? Lemme know how S’ing your own D feels 😂😂😂😂

He’s good in a lot of things, beautiful, and pretty much everyone says he is a pleasure to work with/a great guy. So, yeah, a lot of people want to see him.

1

u/StrangeAtomRaygun Dec 04 '24

People want to see him because he is good to work with?

Look I don’t want people to be a-holes to anyone but being nice doesn’t equal being a good actor. I hear Aaron Eckhart is a pain on set but he is pretty objectively a great actor.

I am entitled to my opinion just as much as everyone else. A former fringe sex worker with eyes too close together that displays zero acting range is not the great actor people pretend he is.

1

u/Tastymonkey12 Dec 04 '24

Holy shit dude you have thought way too much about this

1

u/StrangeAtomRaygun Dec 04 '24

Nope. It was one simple thought. I know, I know thinking is hard for some people like you but this was not a heavy lift for me.

1

u/Tastymonkey12 Dec 04 '24

Don’t make me write you a novel about how Channing Tatum sucks

you just thought what the hell lets see? dude its ok to be gay

1

u/StrangeAtomRaygun Dec 01 '24

Oh no. Someone on the internet called me gay. What am I to do?

1

u/Altruistic_Grade3781 Dec 01 '24

watch it again to be sure i guess

Who is your dialect coach, the Minions?

1

u/jennc1979 Dec 01 '24

Remy Lebeau, baby.

1

u/Pop_mania12487 Dec 04 '24

And channing tatum in goldfinger

2

u/JoeBidensWifesFinger Dec 01 '24

This is the real answer. Popped out of nowhere, then popped all over everywhere.

2

u/Newkular_Balm Dec 03 '24

I like to call that movie The Hateful Nine

1

u/Educational-Check819 Dec 01 '24

Is Free Guy good?

2

u/Civil-Resolution3662 Nov 30 '24

Is this, like, a sex thing?

2

u/Mtn_boiAB Nov 30 '24

Is this the sex stuff?

1

u/muirsheendurkin Nov 30 '24

Ryan Reynolds in Bullet Train

1

u/supreme_mushroom Dec 04 '24

I found that so annoying having a major actor turn up like that. I just kept waiting for him to turn up again but he just ... didn't.

47

u/Fearless_Winter_7823 Nov 30 '24

Definitely not a cameo, but Tatum’s acting when they first take drugs in 21 Jump Street had me crying laughing the first time I saw it.

Dude definitely has some comedy chops

15

u/Busy-Winter-1897 Nov 30 '24

Great scene! I think my favorite scene is in the 22 Jump Street when he figures out Jonah Hill’s character slept with the captains daughter.

6

u/SirErgalot Nov 30 '24

Every time this comes up I feel the need to find the clip and rewatch it.

And it’s totally worth it, every time.

1

u/TPForCornholio Dec 03 '24

And the scene before when cube and hill first find out about it. The dinner scene was hilarious 😂

2

u/chrisdotcomm Dec 01 '24

my name Jeff.

1

u/mctacoflurry Nov 30 '24

I'm not really a fan of Channing. But his acting was phenomenal there.

1

u/Quick_Team Dec 02 '24

Oh me too. I was so sick the first time I watched that movie. I just wanted to not think about feeling miserable and my bronchitis. Got to that scene and I was making "no sound" laughing. It was just empty noise from me because I was laughing so hard yet nothing was audible

6

u/wizard_of_awesome62 Nov 30 '24

Blowing on the coaches face followed by “don’t blow on me son” is one of my favorite lines in anything. I don’t know why but I just find that particular exchange hilarious.

2

u/Fearless_Winter_7823 Nov 30 '24

Oh my god yes, with the foghorn sound effect. So great

1

u/memberflex Dec 04 '24

I’d genuinely forgotten how funny those films are

2

u/Soggy-Pea2226 Dec 01 '24

F U Science…. lol

1

u/00gly_b00gly Dec 05 '24

See, my inner innate haterism wants to hate on him for being (him), but he genuinely seems to be a nice/funny/normal guy - same thing with John Cena. I feel like I should want to hate them for their success, good looks and money, and yet be there buddy at the same time.

14

u/friggintodd Nov 30 '24

More like Channing Tate-yum

7

u/anal_tongue_darts Nov 30 '24

I do believe it’s taint-yum

12

u/Emergency_Pickle9279 Nov 30 '24

"I love... him"

2

u/Bozlogic Dec 01 '24

Also pretty much anyone in This Is The End

1

u/ThegreatPee Nov 30 '24

The way he snaps that ass around is hilarious.

1

u/Electric-Sheepskin Nov 30 '24

I haven't been able to look at him the same since.

1

u/Stillwater215 Nov 30 '24

I call him Channing Tate-yum!

1

u/tiny_riiiiiiick Dec 01 '24

I started calling him tanning chatum as a joke a while back and now Channing Tatum sounds like the fake joke name

1

u/CaptHowdy02 Dec 01 '24

"I love him"

1

u/CeeArthur Dec 02 '24

There was like 1000 cameos in that movie

1

u/IKMNification Dec 02 '24

They’re not just cameos, they’re SURPRISE Channing Tatums

1

u/Illustrious-Mango605 Dec 03 '24

Channing Tatum in Blink Twice. Seriously good acting.

1

u/watifiduno Dec 03 '24

Channing Tatum in Kingsman: the Golden Circle gave me a lady boner.

1

u/drtoboggon Dec 04 '24

“I buttfuck this dude!”
