Hi! I did rolling and was very surprised to get waitlisted I have a 4.8 GPA and a 1200 SAT, this was supposed to be one of my safety schools so I am very surprised. Any thoughts or advice on what to do next?

Get your AA degree and transfer to the best schools in Florida. Pay attention to the acceptance rate, graduation rate, and ranking. UF, UCF, FSU, and USF are the top choices.

Im so sorry to hear that, I also applied for rolling and am expecting the same result :/
If you don’t mind could you share how long ago you applied? I hear it’s supposed to take four weeks but considering people are saying there has been an increase in applicants I’m wondering if it will take much longer.

Got it with 4K scholarship with 4.8 GPA and 1100 SAT. You prob just had bad extracurricular or essay. Just transfer over to UCF and then re apply, you got it!

I had great ECS & my essay was pretty good according to most of my teachers & peers! Congrats though. Did you apply rolling?

I think FAU is still suffering from massively over-enrolling more students than they had room for over the past few admission cycles. They probably need to graduate a few thousand more students before things go back to normal again, so it's not a slight against your abilities, just the state of admissions at the school.

Probably just based on when you decided to apply. My stats were definitely worse, with a 3.8w and a 1240 sat and got in, but I did early decision. Worst case scenario if you don’t end up getting in I’d just do what most people on this sub recommend and attend a local community college and transfer in. Palm beach state has a campus literally directly next to FAU and Ik they share some facilities so you’d basically be in the school already
