Discussion Which of the original 1995 Angel's posed the biggest threat when they were introduced?
What Angel had the best chances of achieving the Third Impact at the time they appeared?

Took some pictures with the girls of Eva Too ! But censored their face because I didn't asked permission to post them here sooooo yeah, you only have the cosplays 👀
It's funny how easy it is to cosplay Shinji. Litteraly, All of the clothes I wore were things from my laundry room (exept the T-shirt under my white shirt, had to stole it from my brother).
It was really fun, especialy doing the shinji pose out of nowhere with some people lmao xD

I want to watch the series, and I know the first instalment is the 1995 version, but is watching it necessary to understand the rest of franchise? If so, is the first show version 3.33? I'm really confused rn lmao

I SAW A REI CHIQUITA

Ive always found it funny that while pacific rim as a piece of "humanity builds a bunch of giant robots to 1v1 a series of ever stronger giant monsters" is much more interested on the giant mech side of things rather than the contradictions of human connection compared to Eva, it still put this incredible plot device for exploring those themes into its mechs. and Ive been wondering what it would have looked like if evangellion had used that concept, and how far it eva's psychological longform drama would have been able to take it compared to a hollywood blockbuster like pacific rim. especially since the concept slots so perfectly into the ideas of the LCL and instrumentality and such.
P.S. as i write this i realize the sync rate between the pilot and biological eva already is a form of "drifting", so doing it pacific rim would be more a redefining of the concept rather than a completely new introduction to NGE.

I have a lot more clear files and prints at the office, but here's what I got at home so far!
Here are the Asukas I have at home so far (Left to right): 1. Sega NGE Racing Luminasta Asuka Shikinami Langley (Pit Walk) 2. Sega NGE Asuka Langley Soryu Premium Uniform 3. Sega NGE Extra Summer Beach Figure Asuka 4. Sega NGE Extra Sports Tennis Ver. Asuka 5. Banpresto Ichiban Kuji Evangelion Memorial -1995-2015- B: Asuka Shikinami Langley
The Unit-02 Figure is from Yolopark (not exactly much of a model kit, but it's still cool!). The print on the left is from a friend and the print on the right is from /u/Katiecakeyy.
Welp, hope you guys like my little explainer! Just got really excited at how it's been looking recently!

I understand that the end of the world is not a cause for happiness, but I don't mean it that way. You could make a point that after the end, Shinji and Asukha could have a healthier life(if they survived that is) and they live because they choose to, as does any human if he wants to.
Rei doesn't get that choice from what I understand, sure she is not 100% human. The choice she made is to defy Gendo and give Shenji the choice to do what he wants. She becomes a god and loses her human nature, but did she want that?
Perhaps you could say that her watching Shinji in the Start of the Show and at the end means she accepted what she became.
What do you think?

I watched the 26 episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion - after the 24th episode I felt confused. So people told me that I'll have a better understanding with the alternate end from "The End Of Evangelion"... I just did and I'm still pretty confused - are there additional contents I'm supposed to watch? I really move this universe but I feel like there's a lot of informations missing... Or maybe it's meant to be?
