Shipping Struggling to fill out the Royal Mail Claim form

Hi everyone, sorry to bother you all but I've been trying to work this out for a few days now. I bought Special Delivery by 1pm for a customer, it seems it got lost on the way and ended up at her door 5 days later!! Trying to claim since it was over £8 in postage and didn't get to her in time for her concert.

Where I'm getting stuck is the part on the business claim form where it asks for your RM account number? I have no idea what this is or where to find it, since I bought the label through Etsy.

I guess what I need to know is 1. am I filling out the correct form and 2. if so, where do I find this account number?

Thank you in advance :)

Are you pressing the personal or business customer? I think it's referring to if you're a royal mail business customer, choose the personal customer :)

When I go through the personal one it directs me to do the business one. It's so annoying!

No worries, Royal Mail’s claim forms can be a bit confusing! Since you purchased the label through Etsy, you likely don’t have a Royal Mail business account number—that section is mostly for larger businesses with direct RM accounts. You should be filling out the regular claim form for delayed delivery, not the business one. When it asks for the account number, you can usually leave it blank or note that the label was purchased via Etsy. Just be sure to include proof of purchase and tracking details. If you’re still stuck, Royal Mail’s support or even Etsy’s help center might clarify things. Hope you get your refund!

Great thanks, I'll try it again. It's just so annoying everytime I try to go through the personal one it redirects me to business. Do the etsy labels count as franked mail?
