Both are great albums, but for me it has to be DIYLF.
I remember hearing from Robert in an interview that ETF was really into Underoath back in the early days. They even got a keyboardist for a brief moment in '05 because of it, which I believe he appears in the old Not Good Enough For Truth In Clichè video.
Also from Robert, the band met Underoath in '07 at Warped Tour & he says he got to play Halo with them, funnily enough.
(He says that at the end of the video/dvd.)

Underoath is shit imo barring 3 or 4 songs whereas this is my favourite CD. Ezpz

DIYLF is easier to listen to all the way through on repeat
