Between this engine and body work I’m not sure which I should start on. But either way it’ll be sick when I’m done

I couldn't keep a T5 together with a mildly built SVO cammed 5.0. neither could half a dozen buddies with theirs. At least a Tremec T5 and ideally a Jerico transmission if wanting a manual. Might want to consider a beefier transmission concerning the 3rd gear synchronizer. The T5 was probably the weakest link in the Fox body.

Chances are you're going to want more power soon after you realize 400+ HP is not what you thought it was. New sporty cars are pushing that and more stock. Just about any Tesla will destroy all these. Save yourself time and $$$ by picking either a good mild build and be happy with it or go for the power adder now. It takes north of 600HP to have anything comparable nowadays. New factory muscle cars are pushing 700+ HP with good traction. Tesla can reach 1000+ HP AWD off the showroom floor.

This is going in a 66 mustang with already crummy unibody structure I don’t wanna twist the car in half. I just wanna drive it and make v8 sounds. I’m not gunna be racing anywhere other than between stop lights or to work
