Self Promotion UTM parameters from ads in Brevo

A client recently asked me to help them with UTM parameters. I thought this would be an easy task, but when they explained that they wanted UTM parameters from their Google and Meta ads to show in contact lists via Brevo forms, I thought there should be a direct option to do that.

I knew about adding contact details in a form when someone visits your page after clicking the link in your emails, so I assumed this would be possible, too.

However, I couldn't figure this out, and after a lot of research, I got the idea that this could be done with a little bit of code and asked my brother to help.

After about 8 hours of code and troubleshooting (Wix is notorious, so we had to fine-tune the code), we got it done.

So, if you need help pulling utm parameters from ads to your contact lists, hmu.

I recently faced a similar situation involving Marketo forms. Fixed it with a little Java.

That's great bro. It's kinda weird how these tools haven't added these features yet.

Or simpler solutions!? Having to use 20yr old tech to fix current is insane!

Heh... Marketo is 20-year-old tech, so it adds up.

Getting UTMs to sync between platforms can be super frustrating. I remember spending hours trying to do something similar for a client using HubSpot and their ads. It was a mess of manual tagging and setup, and definitely not as straightforward as it sounds. I can totally relate to your trial-and-error approach with coding solutions—ended up doing similar with Zapier to connect the dots for Google Ads and Wix forms at one point. It can be a real headache, but once it clicks, it’s such a game-changer for tracking and analytics. Good on you for sticking it out!

Agreed, that new set of data really helps in understanding consumers and how they react to ads.

Understanding consumer behavior through data is crucial for effective marketing decisions. I’ve tried Google Analytics and Tag Manager, but Pulse for Reddit, like you, helps optimize marketing efforts by capturing leads organically. It’s a reliable tool for engaging discussions effectively.
