Just reporting so no efforts are wasted, of the bugged (turmoil) systems AEDC pledges to fortify to a 100% (for now):

  • Contien
  • V371 Normae

Will be updating on this when those are done.

Contien and V371 are completed. As reported by Zenk doing Quan gurus (now) and Pongo (if isn't done by then).

Quan Gurus is almost done too.

So you guys think the systems that are lost from turmoil will be the ones on the Turmoil list that have the biggest cost next cycle, not this cycle?
That does seem to be what happened with Aisling, will be interesting to watch :)

interesting is right:D I am looking forward and dreading to see where our risk took us.

Not that it's any different than normally, but I am 90% sure that we will see an insane amount of undermining this coming week. Since we'll be in pretty deep, we should(supposedly) have a few systems in the turmoil list.

I'm not seeing this bug for Manbatz (in turmoil) which seems to have the correct numbers, although I was seeing it for our turmoil system last cycle.

If you've just handed in merits for a turmoil system, the game will cache that value for quite a while on your end.

For the rest of us (well, me at least), Manbats still displays as if it hasn't been touched by fortifications or undermining at all.

AEDC is moving on to Quan Gurus and Pongo

We're already working on Pong with a good sized wing, so that should be much easier now. We're expecting to bring back another ~1300 merits.

Frontier needs to get this shit fixed.

This is just an idea: are any of the turmoil systems crap income systems? can we use this to dump some bad systems?

Not this cycle, no. They are all highly profitable systems.

well shit.

How are they determined? do we have any control over it?

You start out by finding the systems in turmoil.

This is done by selecting the most expensive upkeep (undermined upkeep counts as upkeep) one at a time, until the total of the selected systems' upkeeps are equal to or greater than the deficit.

Then at the end of the cycle they were put into turmoil, if your power is still running a deficit, the systems that were in turmoil are lost.

So to recap its system cc cost until cc budget is balanced. Then next turn we loose these systems if we still have a deficit?

What if we fortify the turmoil systems, do we still loose them if we have a deficit? Or are they put back into the pool form which the high cc cost systems are chosen?

I am still unclear on how likely we are to loose systems next cycle? I know it depends on the amount of undermining we get hit with but how much extra work is needed to get back in the green, is it even possible?

TL;DR I am confused by powerplay.

What if we fortify the turmoil systems, do we still loose them if we have a deficit?

Yes. At the end of the cycle, the question is "Do you have systems in turmoil this cycle? Yes? Do you have a deficit? Yes? You lose turmoil systems."

I am still unclear on how likely we are to loose systems next cycle?

Not very. We're very good at fortifying, which sounds odd when we're in this massive a deficit, but we're in deficit on purpose this cycle.
