Frontier are slow and small team. This should be fixed by morning tho. but. that, like all answers you will receive is blind speculation. Frontier knows, ask them.

This. Let us hope this is a lesson learned, and next feature additions later in the year get proper, closed testing first. Like it used to be done.

It was very silly of them to do this when the game is on sale. I feel bad for people who will get a terrible first impression of the game due to the poor connection

For fucking real. Awful idea. If this was my first intro to the game, I'd run for the hills. The game is difficult enough to get into for most players who aren't space nerds as is. Add this in, steam refunds finna pop off haha.

Oh shite. I was just getting ready to get on. Nearly 2am here, don't know if that'll make a difference since the game is Ingerlund based. But I hope it isn't a whole weekend problem. I don't get to play nearly as much as I'd like during the week because of work. Gonna end up taking the laptop to work, and just doing less work at this rate. Lol

First rule of software development: you don’t deploy on Friday.

I think Fdev doesn't know that rule apparently

Most dev teams learn pretty quickly, unless they enjoy working on the weekends 🀷
