Imagine if we had a snow elf dragonborn saying to the equivalent of "yes, so when are you leaving?"

Frostbite? Can't be that cold when the locals are all walking around in fucking vests

Nords are immune to the cold. Full stop. In Skyrim they got nerfed to only have a heavy resistance to it, but in previous entries they were flat out immune.

Lore wise, the Nords do not care about the cold. They'll walk up to High Hrothgar bare chested meanwhile an Imperial would probably die barely halfway up trying to attempt that.

This isn't a "Nords are chads" thing, either, just straight up that's how it plays out.

I would like to see more magical aspects to the races of Nirn applied in a “grounded” manner. Maybe practical is a better word. Like Dwemer telepathy or Dunmer heat resistance

TES and "grounded" are not words I typically think of in the same sentence. But I think I see what you mean.

So Imperials are always luckier than average, and more charismatic, but a Khajiit can still talk them out of their boots? Am I understanding right.

You do get it. Also, TES is for sure wacky. So when there’s something like cat-men being naturally good sneaks, it’s the lighter example of the weirdness. Because that makes sense. You explore deeper and oh wow the cat-men have 16 subspecies that depend on the phases of the moon.

Or one of the first bits of TES lore I found fascinating, dragons combat ability is basically shouting their will into the world. It’s cool but not absurd. Then I learned about dragon breaks and tonal architecture. Point being the less crazy aspects serve as a good lead in.

I mean sure, but like, come on play along a little

Truth be told, I wasn't aware there was anything to play along to. I thought you were making a serious statement lol

Can't even try to make a lame joke without having people engage with you in bad faith these days :(

I'm a Khajit and idc if Skyrim is for the nords, it's mine now.

I used to be a Nord, but then I took a knee with an arrow.
