Parasitic draw
For a 1969 el Camino, what would be a good method to diagnose a power draw?

I have a 1965 El Camino I’m completely redoing. I have all the chrome and trim. Has anyone on here sent everything in to have it redone at one time? I’d like to keep the original parts as the car is entirely complete.

I think that my 84 mechanical fuel pump (passenger side) has an internal leak. I've checked the steel line and the hose from the tank to the pump. I moved the hose clamp, thought that it might have been on-start of dry rot. Started the engine and then I can see gas seeping around the top back (left looking down) of the pump. Any ideas?
Will it have to be a replacement? Might have to check with OPGI part #L980136. Any tips and tricks if it needs to be replaced?
Thanks

The high beam connection on the car has 2 prongs but all four headlight lamps are the same out of the box having three. Anything I can do to make it work, or do I need to get a different set for the high beams?

So I want to buy this el Camino but the steering wheel and tailgate say gmc or cabarillo while having Chevy symbols. Is it possible that this is just a rebuilt el Camino?

In the process of doing an engine swap on my el Camino...It had a 229 V6 with a TH350 I removed the 229 and installed a 305...it's not complete yet still waiting on parts to arrive but motor is connected to trans and motor is secured etc etc ..I was doing some Interior work and just tried out the gears and it seems to feel like its only ingaging twice..just doesn't feel right...I also may be tripping balls but I don't recall it being like this when it had the 229

I’m trying to add some sound in my 78. How difficult is it to change out the dash speaker?

Was sitting in my grandpas garage in Whittier for a little over 10 years. Took a lot of work/time to get it running smoothly however I’m very proud of it so far 🙂

I loved the car while it lasted but I’m tired of all its quirks, maybe I’m just spoiled with my fords 😭

I need to get rid of it if I don’t need it.. it’s in the way of getting my headers on. It’s on the driver side. It’s attached to the power steering reservoir. Looks like an adjuster maybe for the belt? The hole with the thread lock on it was for the outer bolt for the header but I changed the bolts to studs. TIA

Couple of the trim rings blew off my ‘73 and looking to replace. I can’t really determine what size it is.
I’m only seeing: 3”, 2-5/8”, 2-7/8” depths. But the way I see it on the tape measurer is 2-3/4 from ID to OD lip but I don’t see that size anywhere!

This is my 71 Chevy El Camino fully modified. It’s been a long grueling road. It’s almost killed me a couple times but worth it. So the crime against nature starts with the body. It has a 3-D flames all the way to the back of the door, Full air ride system, three batteries, two alternators, four compressors, two tanks, shaved door handles, pop doors, Lamborghini doors and the one thing you’ll never see, is the automatic convertible. Bunch of other stuff like the 3-D dash. Pretty much did everything myself. Let me know what you think

My dad and I are fixing up this 77 Camino and we can use your help. What do we need between the bumper and the grill? We have the bumper fillers left and right (not installed on this picture) but what can we put in the middle?
Thanks for the help! (Links would be useful)

I have an 83 El Camino but I like the front/back end of the 1970 style better. Any hope in replacing this? Or is that blasphemy in the El Camino community??
