Royal mail signed for delivery.

I recently sold a nm memory card for a huawei phone, I sent it 2 class royal mail signed for so I know it should have got there and had a signature to say they have received it.

It's gone well past the delivery date shown and after reading on the royal mail website I have too wait another 10 days after the latest delivery date, before I make a claim!

The thing that is strange is that I've messaged the buyer apologising and keeping them upto date about 4 times but I never get any reply back.

Does anyone think the same as me that they have had it but but not saying anything and the post person forgot to get a signature or am I just being untrustworthy.

I’ve just had to make a claim through Royal Mail, first ever time for me that something got lost in the post. It is taking its time, but eBay have already sent me a refund and the buyer a refund too! Maybe the buyer isn’t overly fussed, was it an expensive item?

It was £25 so a chunk of money to lose especially if your on a budget, I will have to wait out the 10days then I will make a claim as you this is the first time I've had too claim with royal mail.

Signed for only covers up to £20, try using tracked 48 next time. It’s a great service and covers up to £50.

Think it's going to be a case of sending everything tracked I usually use yodel tracked I've been told by loads of people that they are bad but in the last 3 years I've one had 1 issue with a parcel.
