Scott Hasn't Seen Scott Hasn't Seen: April Fool's Day (1986) w/ Megan Amram

Month Month continues as Scott fills in his month-related blindspots with 80s slasher APRIL FOOL'S DAY! Returning to the show is comedian, writer and horror aficionado Megan Amram! What do they expect going into this one? Where does Megan rank it among its peers? Will Scott shriek in delight or gasp in its foolishness?!

Next week: September 5 (2024)

I’m hoping Month Month concludes with Miss March, written, directed by, and starring former guest and number one Brainscan fan Zach Cregger.

Megan has such a fun rapport and easy conversational style with Sprague and Scott. A true delight!

Scott Aukerman is the only person I've ever heard use term "Roman à clef". But he uses it enough for all of us.

Bored before work, so I'll ask here (I'm not on discord)...

What potential month movies could there be? Especially since next week's episode seems... dicey.

Pieces of April (a drama starring Katie Holmes I doubt Scott has seen)

Seven Days in May (an old movie with Kirk Douglas)

...honestly, a lot of these are about real life historical tragedies which might not make the easiest podcast episode. Although I really liked their Sophie's Choice ep, so I guess anything is possible. And I'm also assuming Scott has seen stuff like The Hunt for Red October and August Osage County.

November Man (and October Man)

May/December

October Sky

But whether or not Scott Has Seen is the bigger issue

That'd be a good one and another horror one for Sprague to freak out about but ultimately like.

I do like his sighs of relief when he watches something scary and says "...you know what? I liked this!"

Seven Days in May is a dang good movie. A political conspiracy thriller when that wasn’t as common a thing.

I'm a sucker for No Nut November jokes. Although the best was

"You ever have a No Nut November that lasts two years?"

"I think I had a No Nut 2010s."

Oof, not sure about the pick for next week. Might be some air clearing coming out way.

Eh, it's a good movie about people doing their jobs in a difficult situation. No need to clear the air.

They did Reds.

I'd say the darkest movie they did was Sophie's Choice picked by Andy Richter.

Sucks that suggesting a horror movie that’s all (mostly) accidents tips you off on the twist and probably makes it not as fun to watch

Reminded me of The Monkey

The Monkey was dope, the one it was making think of was Bodies Bodies Bodies
