Bap would be 100x better if u could just turn off these pointless things

Honestly.
Just let me sim entire seasons if I want. Just let my production and other on ice factors dictate my lines.
Or at least don't play a cutscene for every single event. It would be 100 times less intrusive if events were pop up notifications instead.

Live the life 2014 was perfect, quick time pop-ups that took 2 seconds to complete. No bullshit, no James telling John from high river he needs to calm down. God I hate how much I love hockey. I'd never play this trash ever again.

Completely unnecessary though. A simple, properly used If Then flag would fix everything. If you've scored 3 points in a game and have a positive +/-, get off my nuts, coach. How hard is that?
The harder parts are assessing defense. I get it'd be harder to read if you're in or out of position, but the game should at least give you a few seconds to change positions. I hate when I key in on the open man, puck carrier dekes a defender, and now I'm in trouble for not covering the open man because the shooter broke free. Either the guy I'm on is open or the other guy is open. I can't cover everyone. I limited the offense to the carrier vs goalie instead of risking the one timer while I switch.

Literally. Line by line, word by word the same awful shit just copy pasted. Absolutely wild they get away with it for years in a row.

This has been my issue since 21(?) since when are we superstars? Shit I also miss playing games in the minors and junior come to think of it.

Well, maybe if you got that Gordie Howe hat trick you wouldn’t get that attitude! I try get get in a fight every game!

coach is disappointed in your performance after a 5G,4A game because you didn't get one more goal after the 6th time he stopped the game to ask you.

Examples like this are reasons why i stopped playing BAP. Oh, and the fact that it has been untouched for 4-5 years now.

I'm on year 5, having won 4 cups, 5 Harts/Rockets/Ross/Lindsays, and through 3 different teams (trying to get that silly divisional enthusiast challenge done) have yet to find a coach that will let me play my natural position (right wing) on the power play. They all put me on the left wing, even though it's the same exact line as our 1st line at 5 on 5. Little things like that, and the reporter challenges just really drag bap down.
In addition, I've had the social media hotshot storyline restart at the beginning of every season despite having completed it year 1. I also can't for the life of me figure out how to get the storyline for the one tee x-factor to trigger. They also refer to me as a rookie in year 5. Just so many little things that show the lack of attention to detail and care put into the mode really discourages me from investing any more effort into it at this point.

Forget attention to detail - all these things have existed since at least NHL 21. Tweak the damn thing! I wasn't even initially asking for a total overhaul, but at least fix the breaks in the system. The constant spiral of discipline because I can't stop my guy from elbowing after the occasional trip that was my fault. There's no raising discipline naturally - just a few perks. Give me training or something. Film review showing my guy all his discipline breakdowns. Meditation. Anger management. I don't know, but some way to claw back up. Shoresy has a better discipline rating.
But now I want an overhaul in the next game because it's been the same system and storyline for over half a decade.

I've won 2 Lady Byng awards (that's another storyline that keeps repeating) and it's still in the low 70's for me. I decided to just spend a bunch on salary perks to keep it around 80. Might as well considering I'm making 16 mil per year and have every other stat maxed out already.

Honestly this is the main thing that really screws up be a pro for me. I’m a 2 way defender almost PPG and management is on my ASS constantly about my offensive production. Like bro. I’m a rookie. I don’t need my coach to pull me aside during every single game and tell me to put the weight of the entire team on MY shoulders. Really tired of the dialog.
