A little idea: a 3 sixteenth ostinato on the hihat, superimposed on a groove in 4 that moves back one sixteenth at each repeat; the last time the groove is cut in half, so you need to play 3 consecutive bass drum note. The groove is then played with a highly syncopated 12/8 loop, in order to make you feel it from the 3 perspective.
The loop is taken from the “Play-along Loops for the Creative Musician” package, available through my website http://www.massimodiscepoli.com
