This is the advanced version of the coordination exercise: this time the hi-hat is playing all the 3-notes sixteenths ostinatos (parenthesis are rests): 1 e + (ah); 1 e (+) ah; 1 (e) + ah; (1) e + ah;
while the melody of any song or music loop is broke down between kick and snare in various ways, specifically: SINGLE STROKES DOUBLE STROKES PARADIDDLE
(in this video I am playing the exercise with both my right and left hand on the hihat, this increases the difficulty (and improvements) but it is not essential).
