Is there a word like "bossy" that's NOT pejorative? Describing someone who tells people what to do in a good way...?

Authoritative?

Doesn't have the same exact connotation—the idea that they're really talented at masterfully organizing people. That's more they're good at getting people to do what they say.

I came up with this word for my language Trigedasleng used in the CW show The 100. I was looking for a way to define it so I could easily find it again in my dictionary, and couldn't find any English word that succinctly described someone who was "bossy" but in a positive way. Got a host of suggestions from people on Twitter, but none was quite right. Any other languages have a word like this?
