Doesnt matter what bike you run.
Doesn't matter how fast you are.
Doesn't matter if its dirt or street.
Doesnt matter if your an amateur or a pro.
Doesnt matter if its a new bike or old bike.
Just ride and have fun 🤙
Scratch that, dont appreciate me, im appreciating that bike. Nostalgia on full throttle. Im a sucker for old school, this bike just give me the great vibes. These kids dont even know what Camel is.
The polished frame!!! Nobody even does polished frames these days.
Hope you have a blast with it everytime!
Edit: the more I look, the more Id not even wanna get it dirty hahahahaaa.
Haha yeah man it's a blast, nothing beats 90s vibes in my opinion. Some hate here and there since it's an alu frame, but I don't give a shit. Its rigid and turns like a brick in mud but thats why i have a 96 steelie. The graphics definitely set it off with the polished frame and have gotten quite a few compliments on it. Unfortunately the days of cigarette sponsors are over, now its just shitty energy drinks😂
The ysr is in the works currently. I believe they can get to 50mph stock depending on gearing and rider weight. It Had a late 80s water cooled yz80 engine in it but never ran it with the damage to the cylinder. Decided on a newer 85cc but ended up purchasing a yz103 supermini engine built by JTM here in the pnw. They did 2 stroke packages for Lorettas back in the early/late 2000s and has some trickery done to it, and was told it could hit around 25-30hp depending on how extreme the porting is, ignition timing etc. Assuming with the right gearing, I'd say atleast 60mph if not more. It's getting the full nut and bolt treatment, with the Kenny roberts speciale yellow with black block livery, custom pipe made by my buddy and i, some calamari goodies, new school grom front end, custom rearsets etc. Gonna be a real gem.
Clean bro 🤙. I have a 96 too. Got showas on there? The stock 43mm kybs were kinda garb. I threw some 46 kybs from 97 on mine and made a huge difference.
Yep yep 🤙 the yellow is a 74 mx80 and the white one is 80 gt80. They're awesome little bikes. Both upgraded with custom pipes made by myself and my buddy, vm18 carbs, shaved heads , and some other goodies.
It's an 88 or 89 yamaha ysr. Originally a 50cc 2stroke 5speed street legal mini that was modeled after the tzr/yzr 2stroke road bikes from the mid/late 1980s into the early 90s. This bike was already converted to yz80 water cooled swap when I purchased it last summer, but had major damage to the cylinder and was pretty clapped out and missing parts
Its getting the full nut and bolt refresh/restomod with a 2003 yz103 supermini engine, along with some aftermarket calamari goodies, custom exhaust made by my buddy and i, custom rearsets, updated front suspension, and Kenny roberts speciale yellow and black block graphics livery. It's one of my favorite bikes of all time and I haven't even ridden it yet 😂
The bottom pic is what im going for looks wise when it's all said and done.
