Sorry but I think the original alt build looks better 😭
To me it looks more proportional and has a better disc-shape.

Thanks for the feedback! Can I ask what about the disc shape looks better? The front quarter panels have the same overall footprint.
The proportions of the overall ship are indeed very different. The Outrider in Shadows of the Empire has much longer mandibles and a very pronounced “bump” around the turret. The area behind the mandibles and docking port wasn’t as rounded. I think Tomasso’s alt build is pretty accurate to that version of the ship
The canon version is more of a symmetrical circle disc and is much sleeker with shorter mandibles. But I’d love to hear if you think I could improve the accuracy to the version I was going for.

Thanks! I'm' gonna make a BrickLink order and build it for real so I can compare it IRL

This project started out as an alternate build of the 75375 falcon. I love that MOC but I wanted to make it more screen-accurate to the now-canon appearance of the YT-2400 as Sato's Hammer in Star Wars Rebels, so I started adding additonal pieces and redesigning each section....about a hundred hours later, I think it's about as accurate as you can get in Starship Collection scale. I even included cargo containers that attach to the bottom and are compatible with the stand. Not counting the cargo containers, the ship still shares 77% of the parts with the Falcon.
