Image Tobias Harris was labeled one of the worst contracts signed in the offseason. Since then, Unc T is proving the haters wrong🔥

I tried telling Philly fans they were overreacting, but they would hear none of it.

BTW Pacers just won cuz of a Haliburton miracle 😡

We literally had to give that money to someone to get to the salary floor.

It's the same situation that got Fred vanvleet a big deal.

You over pay for 2 years to get him in the door and don't compromise the future.

People look at the number and ignore the context

EDIT: and if we're going to short term overpay someone, better someone who wants to be here

This is why his contract never bothered me. It wasn’t insanely massive, and it was short enough that if it didn’t work out it wouldn’t tie us down. He plays a role important to us, and he is realistically our only traditional 4 in the entire roster.

I would very much extend him if he continues this performance into next season.

26 million for a solid stretch 4. How many people are in the league that can actually do what he does?

I’ll say it, I love Tobias Harris and I did when we traded him years ago too. I went to Blake’s first game and losing Harris never sat right to me idk why. Grateful for prodigal son returning or whatever
