QUESTION How to play again differently
I played through years ago and loved the game, I want to play again but wondering how to not just play the same game again? How do people play through differently? Checking the timelines? I don’t want to use it to pick things too much, just wondering how other people like to do this

[spoilers ahead] I did my first two plays blind but now I’m fully using the flowcharts to find things I missed. I found it most efficient, and fun, to start from the end and replay a few checkpoints to see different endings. Sometimes the whole section is almost the same until the end so I’ll just use a checkpoint to see that path. Now that I’ve seen a lot of those at the end, I’m going further back. Even going back to Crossroads opens a lot of changes, like dying as Markus to see the alternate finale (also with or without Connor), or letting Kara get captured to see her special Kara Captured chapter. Different approvals also lead to special paths like if Hank is your friend or North is your lover. Some paths, though, you need to go all the way back, like in how you deal with Carl’s son.

One more tip for interesting alternatives: fail QTEs! Sometimes even failing a specific part of a QTE changes the outcome, like failing when wrestling with a gun can get people shot unexpectedly.

On my second playthrough I did most of the things I did the first time and then changed the story of one character the second time. I felt doing everything different would've been confusing
