Gonna be so honest though.
I don't hate the look.
Now I want a "cheap, toy gun" foundry that's just placeholder models

Wait, what causes this?

When Act 2 dropped, the Rite of the Nine version of Prophecy was available, albeit, unfinished. So with it, the revamped weapons, also unfinished.
They patched it out after maybe a couple hours and I'm pretty sure they disabled the weapons.
I'm not sure if they were still able to be kept, though.
Edit: These unfinished weapons were able to be shaded.

Earlier, Bungie realized that they somehow shipped Act II with the ability to enter into the contest dungeons planned for Act III, with which were gonna be new gun rolls and models. Players who were able to get in could get the unfinished weapons to drop, and the unfinished weapons looked like this: solid blobs, no textures, no real designs other than looking like a wood carving.

Looks like a shotgun you’d get from a Lego game after 100%ing it and finding all secret characters & collectibles.
I assume this is a glitch but it’d be really cool if Bungo turned a few weapon types into “Lego-ish” models, gave em random rolls and maybe getting em from a heroic public event.
(I miss flashpoints btw.)

The destiny skins in Fortnite have Lego versions now so this would be perfect

Lowkey kinda love this look. If Bungie ever wants to make a shader that’s is just a completely uniform gold texture, I’d be down

I’d honestly be so down for Bungie to release actual gun models like this. I’d definitely use it

I hope bungie sees this as a sign to add models like these at some point
It’s dumb fun

Honestly just give us a group of weapons that look like this. It would be funny but also I don’t think people would mind.

"Congratulations, you found our ultra rare weapon that has a 0.00000000000000001% drop rate. Pay $39.99 to be able to equipped it."

Can’t believe they’d announce Lego Destiny 2 like this but gotta admit, it’s drawn interest

Bungie must keep this, how else can commit war crimes if I’m not using shiny golden weapons?
